First star - The Rosary. It is, without a doubt a beautifully made Rosary. Of that, no one can say otherwise.
Poor Customer Service - I had ordered 2 Rosaries, one for my wife and one for me (separate orders) and mine came about 2 weeks after order. Not that big of a deal. When I placed the order for my wife's Rosary, I noticed the timeline was different when I had not received any update from the Shop App. So, I emailed Tomas (the Owner/CEO) and his response regarding the delay was somewhat reasonable. After all, we were at the 2 week mark so, whats another two weeks wait? --- Another two weeks fly by and another email is sent over to Tomas and he shares that he has no idea where the Rosary is at, and that he wants to help fix the situation. Of course, I give him the benefit of the doubt, and I maintained my patience and gave him yet another window of opportunity to correct this.
--- I am not casting blame on the guy or the company for the delay, what upset me to the point of leaving this review was he was more concerned about loosing his cost of a Rosary at my expense. We had agreed upon a No-Later-Than date where, if the rosary had not been returned to him by then, then he would simply send a new one out and expedite the shipping. This began to upset me yet again, because of the manner he chose to do business. He could have IMMEDIATELY sent out a new one, but instead he wanted to wait and see if he could salvage the missing Rosary before making right with our order.
---Moving on. Not only did he not keep his word on sending out the Rosary by the No-Later-Than date, but he took it upon himself to add an additional week (now, creeping up to the 2 month long journey window) in hopes that he would find the one Rosary that was missing.
ABSOLUTELY substandard customer service. As beautiful as the Rosaries are, I would not recommend this company for anyone in the United States. The customer service aspect of any business is incredibly important for me and many consumers. Theotokos, sadly, is lacking.
Second Star - I gave a second star because he was incredibly prompt in refunding my money after I gave him notice that I no longer wanted to do business with them. It was within 24 hours and that was fairly impressive.
RECOMENDATION - The Catholic Company / Rugged Rosaries - Both have beautiful Rosaries and experienced customer service methods

Beautiful rosary
Very beautiful rosary!
It's a beautiful rosary, no doubt about that. I'm just disappointed that it's impractical to pray with. For each decade, one of the Hail Mary beads is different from the rest of the beads. I wish the 10 beads were all the same since the change in texture can be distracting while praying, and it's usually a change in texture or spacing that makes me realize that I've completed the decade. I haven't felt like I could completely lose myself in prayer while using this rosary which is unfortunate and makes me feel like I can't recommend it to someone who actually prays the rosary.
