From the meticulously prepared packaging alone, I could tell that it would be special. The latin phrases along the edges of the box connected me with Mary and the communion of Saints. The rosary itself is beautiful, undoubtedly prepared with care. The construction is sturdy and it has got size and heft - something that I realized only when I finally held it. It felt reassuring. I can’t help but pray the mysteries with it everyday. It’s also the sacramental that I hold on to when I pray. It’s my katana in spiritual warfare.
