About us
Our story
We started developing the idea for Theotokos Rosaries in 2019, when Gabriele couldn’t find a rosary she truly loved. The first prototype was lovingly crafted for our daughter-in-law, sparking the beginning of this journey. Our rosaries are inspired by the most beautiful basilicas in the world, drawing from the rich beauty that Catholic culture has to offer. This inspiration has guided us in creating designs that reflect our heritage and faith
Gabriele and Tomas
Theotokos Team
We are a Catholic family enamored with the beauty of God. Tomas, from a Protestant background, and Gabriele, a cradle Catholic, both experienced a period of spiritual wandering in their early twenties. During the lockdowns, we rediscovered our faith, and Tomas entered the Church in 2022.
Gabriele, a professional illustrator whose return to Catholicism ignited a deep hunger for beauty that leads to God. At Theotokos, she oversees product development, packaging, web design, and all visual elements, drawing inspiration from the Traditional Latin Mass, the lives of the saints, and the rich symbolism of Holy Scripture.
Tomas, an entrepreneur committed to helping revive Catholicism in the West, has explored various business ventures, finding his greatest fulfillment with Theotokos rosaries. He leads our small business, managing the online shop, marketing, operations, and growth, using his analytical and creative skills to build trust and deliver quality to our customers.

Mother of God
Theotokos team
The Perfect Woman.
The Seat of wisdom.
The gentle manager of our business.
She joined us before we even started. This is Her project. To Her we entrust all of its highs and lows. She inspired our brand. She brought our rosaries from a side hustle to a full-time business as we carried Her name.
Her oversight never fails, and She has the best connections on Earth and in Heaven to make all things possible through Christ our Lord.
Why Theotokos?
Aside from our growing devotion to the Blessed Mother, we love the connection between the title ,,God bearer“ and the prayer of the rosary which bears within itself the beauty of Christ‘s incarnation, death and resurrection. Just as through Mary we received our Lord Jesus Christ, so through Mary we received the Holy rosary and through the Rosary, a closer relationship to God. The name connects the timeless tradition and contemporary call for mysticism.
The God Bearer
(greek: God Bearer, The Mother of God) is one of the earliest titles of the Blessed Virgin Mary as well as an ancient Catholic dogma with Christ at its center. In resistance to Nestorian heresy that denied Christ’s dual nature, the Catholic Church declared that Jesus Christ is fully man and fully God with both of His natures – divine and human, united in His One person and therefore Mary is the Mother of God.
,,IF ANYONE DOES NOT CONFESS THAT GOD IS TRULY EMMANUEL, AND THAT ON THIS ACCOUNT THE HOLY VIRGIN IS THE “THEOTOKOS” (FOR ACCORDING TO THE FLESH SHE GAVE BIRTH TO THE WORD OF GOD BECOME FLESH BY BIRTH) LET HIM BE ANATHEMA.”(The Council of Ephesus, 431 AD)
